Johann Sebastian Bach, Frederic Chopin and Philipp Glass are the composers whom I listen to as unironically as to the Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble.

Generally the faces of Western Art Music are seen as overrated here (though I concede there still being great works from all 3):
Bach – The Art of Fugue, BWV1080
Beethoven – ‘Appassionata’ Sonata
Mozart – Piano Sonata No.8 in A Minor, K.310
I like Chopin’s 24 Preludes, Op. 28 quite a lot. But that’s all. What about Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition?
Franz Liszt is the all time GOAT, and not Wagner (sorry Hitler).
The top 3 atm are late-Liszt:
Nuages gris, S.199
La lugubre gondola, S.200 (2 movements)
Unstern! sinistre, disastro, S.208
Music doesn’t get any more profound than these 3.
